Playtech brings vintage Batman back to life in their latest release!
The 1960s TV series featuring Adam West as Batman, Burt Ward as Robin and Cesar Romero as the original Joker is once again brought back to life thanks to Playtech’s latest couple of releases.
As a part of what looks like a series of slots devoted to the vintage aesthetics of superheroes and supervillains, and hand by hand with the recent Batman and Catwoman Cash slot, this 5-reel video-slot is aimed at those not-so-young bettors that remember the TV series and those who are just vintage aficionados.
Set up on a 5-reel, 3-row and 25 payline configuration, this video-slot has a medium volatility that allows coin wins to be consistent and frequent.
The game is highly reminiscent to the TV show aforementioned, with all symbols winking to elements that appeared in the episodes: the Batmobile, Batman’s utility bell, the Joker’s set of chattering false teeth and a fake gun.

In terms of special features, this game is not particularly rich. To redeem one of the 25 paylines you have to get 3 or more symbols of a kind configured in a winning payline matter, starting at the leftmost reel all the way to the center or rightmost one.
However, in the particular case of the Wilds, you can receive coin wins starting with only a 2 symbol coincidence. Of course, the payout granted to you from this payline will be quite low -featuring only 2 coins- but it is better than zero coins!
What’s more, the super-villain Joker is not really that mean. If you get three or more Wild Jokers, he will personally grant you with a total of 9 extra Wild symbols that will help you achieve further paylines.
Related to payouts, you will most likely leave with a few coins in rewards if you never leave the main game.

What we loved
We really loved the concept of the slot and how cleverly Playtech managed to bring this TV series back to life and into the online gambling realm.

What we did not like
As much as we loved the Joker Free Games feature, we were kind of expecting a lot more in the special feature department.
There is not much going on in this game, and we think that this is a little odd coming from mayor developer Playtech.
After a few spins, this game gets a little boring. It is definitely not immersive and somewhat dull.

If you’re into the superhero narrative or into the vintage TV show group of fans, you will most likely enjoy this game. As a clear wink to the original series, you will feel entertained while spinning along in Batman and the Joker Jewels.
In terms of payout, this game offers a maximum of $/€1,250,000 if you’re lucky enough to get 5 Wild symbols matching on the reels. This is a very substantial amount, considering that it is available from outside the game’s special features.
