How to play
This slot game doesn’t look out of the ordinary. Most Play ‘n Go online slots feature the same wagering menus, and this one is no different. Features
Wild symbols: Bizarrely, a red rose appears as a wild icon in this slot machine. These symbols can replace any others in the game barring scatter symbols, but there is nothing new or original about that.
Scatter symbols: Scatters show up as King Midas, and when these icons appear they will count no matter where they pop up on the screen. They can also trigger a free spin feature, although you will need them to appear on the reels 1, 3 and 5 for that to happen.
Stacked symbols: In the base game, any symbol will be chosen to appear super stacked on the reels. These icons can help you land wins since they can appear 12 symbols deep at times.
Expanding symbols: It is also worth noting that one of the symbols may be chosen at random to appear as an expanding icon. These can sit snuggly on reels 1, 3 and 5 and that will also help you land wins.
Free spin bonus: Players who have managed to bag all 3 scatters will activate a free game feature. This free game bonus offers a total of 10 spins, although you can win more by retriggering the bonus. In the feature, low-paying symbols can be selected as staked icons (just like in the base game) while wild symbols also appear stacked in the feature. Maximum pay-outs
Unfortunately, despite the rose being the best-paying icon in the game (worth up to 5,000 coins if 5 appear on a line) nothing everything is as rosy. Summary
This slot machine has its good moments and its bad ones. From an RTP and design point of view, Gold King is a little dull. From a feature and prize point of view, it’s certainly worth a sniff. At best, the game can be considered as yet another mediocre Play ‘n Go slot.
