There is one Chinese legend about a Yellow Emperor called Huangdi, whose historical transcendence made him a deity among Chinese people.
Today, most Chinese believe him to be one of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, crediting Huangdi as the common origin of all the Chinese civilization.
